$9.7 billion worth of shorts are close to liquidation in Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin accounts for nearly 60% of the crypto market cap, such a short squeeze could trigger a marketwide rally. Crypto ETFs recorded their first few net inflows on 29 Nov, ending a long pause. The reason for such high inflows into ETH ETFs appears to be the approval of staking, which offer additional gains to ETF holders. Prediction markets are expecting an 88% probability that the US Federal Reserve will cut interest rates further by 0.25%.
