What do you think about SaaS-based mining? I built OneClickMiner and would love general feedback

Hi all,

I've been working on a project for the past couple of months called OneClickMiner, a SaaS platform that lets people rent small amounts of hashrate for different mineable coins.

Before anything else:

  • No referral links, no promo links, no rewards, no sign-ups attached.
  • This post is not financial advice, nor an attempt to sell anything.
  • I'm not asking anyone to DM me or to join anything. I just want to share the concept and get community thoughts on the model itself.

What it actually is:

It's basically a way for people to experiment with mining without buying hardware. Users pick a coin, pick a small package (from tiny 3-hour ones to larger rentals), and the mining is done using rented rigs from external marketplaces. The platform itself doesn't hold any mined coins, payouts go directly from the pool to the user’s wallet.

Why I built it:

I noticed a lot of people are interested in mining but don't want to deal with:

  • high hardware costs
  • noise/heat
  • electricity issues
  • setup/config
  • maintaining miners So I thought a simple “click, mine, done” interface could make the whole experience more accessible.

How it works behind the scenes:

  • It sources hashrate from existing rig-rental networks
  • Coins include BTC, LTC, DOGE, KAS, BCH, RVN, XMR, and others
  • The goal is to make it cheap to try, some rentals are just a few dollars
  • Results depend entirely on the network difficulty and luck (especially solo mining)
  • The platform earns a small margin between rental cost and package price
  • There's no token, no investment scheme, no staking, and no promises of returns

Why I'm sharing this here:

I know mining discussions here often split into:

  • “DIY or nothing”
  • “Cloud mining is a scam” So I'd genuinely like honest feedback about this SaaS-rental model. It's transparent, doesn't promise profit, and doesn't act as a custodian, but I'd love to hear how the wider community views this kind of platform.

Do you see value in lowering the barrier to mining?
Or does the community prefer sticking to hardware-based setups?

Happy to answer general questions about the model.

Thanks!
