I understand that trading xStocks like SPYx directly isn’t available for EU users, which makes accessing them through traditional platforms impossible for me. I’m therefore looking at DeFi swaps as a potential alternative method. The idea would be to swap USDC > SPYx through a Solana based DEX swap (for example, Jupiter), securely hold it in a Solana compatible hardware wallet, and then, whenever I want to exit, swap it back to USDC.
Does this approach seem viable? Aside from liquidity issues on DEX pools and the possibility of the token essentially dying, are there any other risks I might be missing?
