Top Metaverse coins are down 92% on average from their highs and projects within it look completely inactive at this point. Are Metaverse coins and crypto projects dead, or they will make a comeback in next bull-run?

Both metaverse tokens and virtual real estate has been one of the most hyped up things online during 2021 and early 2022, but since then they have both gone to the absolute bottom of the barrel lows that weren't at all expected just a year or so ago. Virtual real estate platform Decentraland that was at one point valued at over $1 billion is a completely unusable graveyard with completely dead user base of less than a hundred active people daily. Its other hyped up game Sandbox has been doing around the same, absolutely dead numbers.

And Metaverse tokens have also been doing absolutely badly, even much worse on average than the other altcoin market that has also been absolutely bleeding. On average metaverse related tokens are down around 92% already. Considering there is barely any positive words on it or hype even inside some of the most delusional and overly optimistic crypto crowd, it's kind of hard to see this project getting back on its feet even during the next bull-run, but maybe it might. What do you guys think?
