It seems like every single day now, some new devastating headline pops up. Just look at some of the most notable things that happened within the last week:
- Atomic Wallet Hacked
- SEC Going after Binance
- SEC Going after Coinbase
- SEC Going after literally everyone and their mother
- Dr. John Forsyth mysteriously found dead
- Reginald Fowler scamming an entire professional football league
You get the point, I'm sure I missed a few.
My point is, it is wild to sit back and look at the absolute shitstorm we have found ourselves in. But the funny thing is? We're gonna be alright. When Terra collapsed, for the first time ever I was genuinely worried about crypto as a whole. I even hit my PR for the biggest L with that collapse, and I was not looking forward to the fallout. But, lo and behold crypto survived.
Even with this peak onslaught of chaos, crypto will be fine. If BTC even went below like $10k, people would be scooping it up left and right like me with the lo mein at the chinese buffet.
I can't blame anyone who wants to jump ship at this point, but for me crypto has almost always been a game. I haven't invested anything I didn't care to lose, and I think that's what allowed me to not really be phased by the nightmare that is modern crypto. If I make it out the other end with a profit, that's cool. It has been a wild ride regardless, and I'm glad to have been a part of it.
Anyways, I'm gonna go make lunch because mentioning that chinese food earlier made me very hungry.
