Many people might get scammed by making the mistake of sharing their seed phrase or secret keys. But now it's pretty common knowledge to not share those to anyone.
Though some people might still fall to willingly share it, if they think they are being asked it by the staff of their wallet service they are using.
I have previously asked Exodus about their security, and one thing they clearly mentioned is that staff would NEVER ask you your seed phrase or secret keys no matter what
What this means is, IF a staff of a wallet you use, asks you for your seed phrase, then it's a scam. EVEN if it is through their official email, or whatever contacts they use. Because if it is, then it's either a very good imitator, or they got breached.
So make sure to not even fall for that, no matter how real, or official it might look, seed phrases should never be shared. Seed phrases and secret keys are things generated on the blockchains themselves, unrelated to the wallets. wallets act as nothing more than a user interface for the blockchain info, in simple terms.
