Today marks the 3rd month I've been part of the Crypto ecosystem. It's also the 3rd month since I joined Reddit.
I was among the first Newbie DOGE investors of January because of the Elon hype. Mind you I have never invested anything anywhere and got in only because I wanted to be part of a meme. Little did I know the 30 dollars I chucked in would show me my first profits of my life. I kept adding money, as the graph kept going up. Surreal is what I thought at first, joined the r/dogecoin and learned what HODL meant. I didn't know squat about market cap etc, all I knew was this cute dog will go to the Moon.
Well soon after, my gains started disappearing, and now, I experienced my first Loss. Instantly sold everything, as I actually thought I'd lose all my money.
I saw someone mention r/CryptoCurrency in some comment, saying that they hate Doge, and that's how I ended up on this sub, and Wow, I've learned so much from you guys, and I'm forever grateful for it.
3 months in, I've learned to DCA, I've learned not to FOMO, I've learned to buy the dip and Never .. Never invest more than what you can Lose.
This post will probably get buried deep underneath all the don't install Robinhood and 3rd world country stories. But it's alright. I'm writing this for myself. For me to come back here years later and check on my Reddit history of where I began my journey.
PS - MOONs are crazy and in the country I live in, it's absolutely insane I could actually make a full time living just posting here.
