In WSB if you said you took profits on stocks that are the hype because you felt like the price was high enough to, you would be called paper hands and not "one of them", called derogatory things like being weak, and get alienated. Here this is not stocks but crypto which is volatile by nature. Likewise, being positively reinforced to be diamond hands is also a bad thing because you will be discouraged to take profits as every normal investor should.
Being "paper hands" is not a bad thing. It is always encouraged to take profits along the way up, or secure your initial investment, or sell if you need to pay something sudden that comes up in your life, like taxes or rent or debt.
