/r/CryptoCurrency has changed a lot since 2017, and all in all, I like how this sub has turned out.

I might be going against the current with this post, but fuck it.

This sub has changed a lot since 2017. That year was crazy, and this sub was full of newbies constantly flooding in. The hype was crazy, and shitposting was - maybe surprisingly - also a thing back then.

With Moons, we feed Venezuelan families, help out broke college students and provide people with financial difficulties some breathing space. If you've been here for the past few months, you could've seen many posts about how Moons paid someone's bills, loans, shopping, or anything really.

The point of cryptocurrency is to disrupt the corrupt global economy, give the power and responsibility back to the people, and create a more equal financial system. With Moons, I see this happening, just on a smaller scale. I like what the mods of this sub and Reddit created, and can't wait to see what's next.

P.S. I know the introduction of Moons has a downside, but still, I think the pros overweight the cons.
